Task 1

Read Wilkinson (1999)’s guidelines for reporting statistical analyses.

Next, look at one of the experiments conducted in Stekelenburg et al. (2021). Cross-check with the guidelines and formulate criticism (positive or negative) in relation with the reporting done by the authors.

Task 2

Read Nosek et al. (2018) and list three benefits of preregistration. Reflect on the practical aspects and on the impact.1

We will organize a discussion in the near future in class on preregistration and the replication crisis.
